It is essential to have some sort of a backdrop for your dessert table in order to create a distinct space for this focal point of your event. White, plain walls are so bare and boring, but if that's all you have to work with then there are solutions. One idea is to hang something from above. Depending on the type of event, this can include anything from tissue paper or tulle balls, paper lanterns, light bulbs, or flowers. Make sure to use fishing rod when hanging your decor in order to create more of an illusion. Another idea is to hang something on the wall behind the table. For example, you can use a large piece of patterned or solid colored fabric or even a painted piece of plywood. You can even use foam board covered in fabric or wrapping paper. If all these options seem a little too ambitious for you to attempt than you can simply use some sort of table props to fit the concept of your event. Maybe a tall vase with branches or a painted picture. Get creative and have fun with it!!
